In 2007 I was graduating high school. In our town, there were a few local celebrities that us car nuts looked up to, including a guy named Joey Rabiola. Joe's car goes by Boost12, and he was the first person to introduce me to the world of competitive grudge racing. Not the 'one hit on the street a week' crowd, but the crowd that lives and breathes for getting a race off at any time. I can personally vouch for him draining 100's of thousands into his dream, and becoming a staple in the industry for commitment to the sport. Around the time grudge racing began to pick up steam at local mid-west tracks, Joey introduced me to a guy by the name of HEYYOSTEVE. Heyyo would begin to compose a recipe for success. He introduced us to KOTS. KING OF THE STREET. An event held bi-annually at Great Lakes Dragaway, in Union Grove, Wisconsin. KOTS is approaching its decade anniversary, and it's just getting started. Chris Hamilton, "BoostedGT" on 'Street Outlaws'- Discovery Channel has been a dedicated KOTS racer for the better part of the series, and continues to show his support, making the trek from Texas to Wisconsin, unloading his car, and doing work. The field has grown exponentially and as stated before, is only growing larger. The results for 2015's summer KOTS are listed below, would like to extend a special shoutout to Pecoz Motorsports, Chubby Kid Street Cars, The Boosted Misfits, Gage Boyd Photography, and most importantly HEYYOSTEVE, for putting this kickass event together, and keeping CLAPD OUT front and center on his Trans Am!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to make the journey to KOTS this year to show my support. However, Gage Boyd picked up the slack for me, and covered the entire event in amazing fashion. Gage has a knack for composition in photography, coupled with a die hard love for the sport. You'll see this shine through in the gallery below.
