Twas' my first journey to the freshest road course in America. Being a Bowling Green resident for the better half of a decade, I was beyond excited to hear of the Corvette Museum's plans to build the course. Rezoom Motorsports (http://www.rezoommotorsports.com/) had the full track rented out for it's participants and the cars did not disappoint. Except one; a first generation CRX piloted by what I can only assume was Satan's testicle groomer. Not a compliment I gave was received well, and I'm almost positive he was trying to convince others his feces, in fact; did not stink. The Lotus, Porsche, Japanese, Domestic, and Kit car guys were all some of the nicest people I've encountered. Hats off to the crew at Rezoom Motorsports for orchestrating a wonderful event. If you're in the market for a club to be a part of, make sure to check out their site! Enough with the reading, lets look at some snaps.
One of the coolest things at the track. Father/Daughter racing. This GTR was equipped with the basics. JRZ Coils, Alcon big brake kit, and upgraded swaybars. A 2013 with 22,XXX miles, and a life spent being USED! Look for Todd and Danielle at a track near you!
Meet Russ and his 98 Firebird. For all the guys that see transmarobirds floating around on the street and like to poke fun at their 'boat' stature, take notes. With a proper setup, quality suspension, and some home brew aero, Russ has decimated quite a few imports around the track. The car is bare-bones inside. The only carpet overs the shifter and door panels, and the handles inside have been replaced with...moose hide ('MERICA). Russ was stationed in Germany where he caught the bug to road race lapping around the Nurburgring. Thank you for your service to this country Russ and keep kickin ass!
